Where can I stay ?<\/h5>

We offer the \u2018Immersion with us \u2013 swim with orcas\u2019 option if you would like to enjoy a complete experience.<\/p>\n

Besides this option, you will find several hotels and accommodations in Oksfjordhamn, Storslett, and S\u00f8rkjosen, as well as along the E6 road, which you can book through various platforms (Airbnb, Booking, etc.), depending on your preferences and budget.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

About our accommodation in Oksfjordhamn<\/h5>

Our charming Nordic house can accommodate up to 6 people: us, our 12-year-old son, the skipper, and the two participants who wish to enjoy the Swim with Orcas immersion experience.<\/p>\n

The village of Oksfjordhamn has no shops or stores; the nearest one is a 25-minute drive away.
The house is isolated from light pollution, making it perfect for watching the Northern Lights.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

What languages can we communicate in ?<\/h5>

We mainly communicate in French, our native language, and we are also able to communicate comfortably in English in order to best support our
international guests.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

What if I get seasick ?<\/h5>

Seasickness depends on each person\u2019s sensitivity. It is recommended to eat lightly before the excursion, stay well hydrated, and take any necessary precautions if needed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Can I bring my own equipment to swim with orcas ?<\/h5>

You may bring your own equipment if it is suitable for Arctic cold conditions and cold waters.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Can I come with my dog ?<\/h5>

Pets are not allowed on the boat or in the accommodation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Are there toilets on board the boat ?<\/h5>

There are no toilets on the boat, so we recommend using the restroom
before getting equipped.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Can I bring my own equipment to swim with orcas ?<\/h5>

Cameras and photo equipment are allowed. To avoid any damage, we recommend using waterproof protection for your devices.
Drones are not allowed on board the boat.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

How should I dress ?<\/h5>

To swim with orcas, you must wear a close-fitting swimsuit under the wetsuit. We provide swim caps for people with long hair who wish to use one. We also recommend wearing 100% wool socks inside the booties and bringing warm, waterproof gloves.<\/p>\n

For orca and whale watching, although we provide a thermal waterproof
suit as well as warm waterproof boots,
you should still wear clothing suitable for Arctic cold conditions (several layers).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

How many people will be on the boat ?<\/h5>

Our RIB boat can accommodate up to 12 participants, but we have chosen to limit the group to 10 people (5 swimmers and 5 observers) to ensure greater respect for the animals, a more intimate experience, and better interaction between the crew (the captain and 2 guides) and the passengers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Will the water be cold ?<\/h5>

Yes. The water temperature can range from 3\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C depending on the time of year. Don\u2019t worry with
the proper equipment, you will mainly feel the emotion and excitement of the encounters you may experience.
